Tennis Channel, USTA Enter Into Partnership to Televise NCAA Championships

The USTA, in conjunction with the NCAA, and the Tennis Channel announced a three-year partnership on Tuesday, which makes the network the exclusive home of the NCAA Division 1 Men’s and Women’s National Championships.

The partnership begins with this year’s events which are scheduled to run from May 16-25.

“Tennis Channel is the perfect home for the best players and teams in college tennis,” said John MacDonald, Tennis Channel’s Senior Vice President for Content Programming. “We’re excited to bring these young stars to fans around the country.”

Tennis Channel will air more than 50 hours of live matches including live coverage each day of the competition, which features both men’s and women’s team and individual tournaments.

“We are incredibly excited that the Tennis Channel is committing to this level of coverage the NCAA Tennis Championships, showcasing college tennis at its highest level and elevating the sport like never before,” Lew Sherr, USTA’s Chief Revenue Officer. “College tennis is an important part of the development of the next generation of tennis players and the exposure generated by this partnership will only further our mission of growing the game of tennis across the country.”
