2018 U.S. Open Sets Attendance Record

The 2018 U.S. Open has come and gone, with exciting tennis and thrilling action that entertained New Yorkers and the sports world for three weeks.

It was a successful tournament in more ways than one, and the United States Tennis Association has announced that this year’s tournament attracted more than 800,000 fans which includes Fan Week and the two-week long tournament.

The main draw brought in 732,663 fans, while 96,135 came out for Fan Week, bringing the total to a record 828,798 fans who were a part of the U.S. Open’s 50th Anniversary.
